The Comal ISD’s board of trustees is considering a $119 million operating budget for 2008-09 that is funded by the same tax rate as last year — $1.31 per $100 valuation. The school board will hold its public hearing regarding the proposed budget and tax rate on Wednesday, August 27 at 6PM in the district’s Support Services board room, 1404 IH-35 North in New Braunfels. The board will take action on the budget that night and the tax rate adoption is expected in September.
